Post-Production Artist
FULL TIME, IN-OFFICE
FARGO, ND
Post-Production Artist | Motion Graphics & 3D
At Flint Studio, the in-house video, photo, and audio team of Flint Group, we bring stories to life through compelling visuals and thoughtful production. We collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and account teams to produce high-quality content across digital, social, broadcast, and internal channels. Our work ranges from quick-turn edits to highly crafted motion and 3D-driven visual experiences.
We’re seeking a Post-Production Artist to strengthen our motion graphics, 3D and editing capabilities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in post-production and motion design who can contribute immediately and is excited to continue growing their craft in a collaborative studio environment.
You’ll divide your time between motion graphics, photorealistic 3D asset creation (often from CAD files), and video editing; supporting a wide variety of creative projects.
What You’ll Do
Create and animate 2D motion graphics for video content, including titles, transitions, and brand-driven graphic systems.
Build photorealistic 3D assets and animations, frequently starting from CAD files.
Develop lighting, materials, and high-quality renders for seamless integration into video projects.
Composite 3D elements into live-action footage and existing edits.
Collaborate with creatives and producers to interpret concepts and elevate visual storytelling.
Edit video projects in Adobe Premiere Pro, from rough cuts through final delivery.
Support post-production finishing, including color correction, graphics integration, audio cleanup, and multi-format exports.
Manage assets, timelines, and revisions across multiple concurrent projects.
Work primarily within Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Use 3D tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D (experience with one required; openness to the other is a plus).
Maintain organized, production-minded workflows with strong attention to file structure, version control, and delivery specifications.
What You Bring
3–5 years of professional (or equivalent) experience in motion graphics, post-production, or 3D for video.
Strong working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Proven experience producing polished motion graphics and/or photorealistic 3D visuals.
Ability to translate technical source material, including CAD files, into production-ready assets.
A strong eye for lighting, materials, pacing, and visual detail.
Comfort working independently while collaborating within a creative team environment.
Product visualization or technical animation experience.
Advanced compositing or VFX workflows.
Agency or in-house studio experience.
Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio link is required to apply (reel, website, or curated project samples). We’re especially interested in work that demonstrates:
2D motion graphics (typography, animation systems, compositing)
Photorealistic 3D work (materials, lighting, realism, integration with video)
Video editing examples that show pacing and storytelling
When possible, please include brief context about your role, tools used, and specific contributions to each project.
