Flint Group is seeking a driven, detail-oriented PR & Social Media Flintern to join our team for Summer 2026. You’ll gain hands-on agency experience, support real client work, and collaborate with fellow interns to lead a full-scale project for a local nonprofit, from kickoff to final presentation.

Program Details

Dates: May 19 – August 13, 2026
Schedule: Flexible scheduling (minimum 20 hours/week; average 30 hours/week)
Compensation: $17.00/hour
Location: In-office, Fargo, ND


What You’ll Do

  • Support PR and social media initiatives including message development, media outreach, and event support

  • Assist with facilitating media opportunities and tracking coverage

  • Help manage and grow brand social communities

  • Contribute content ideas and collaborate with the social team

  • Support client communication and campaign execution


You won’t just observe strategy; you’ll help execute it.

Who You Are

  • A college student entering junior or senior year by Fall 2026

  • Pursuing a degree in public relations, marketing, advertising, or a related field

  • Demonstrated knowledge or experience in public relations

  • Strong written and verbal communicator

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Proactive, professional, and eager to exceed expectations

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

  • Knowledgeable in marketing and advertising principles
