Tell us why you want to score a summer Flinternship and work on a pro-bono project that focuses on helping local at-risk youth in your creative submission. Use your favorite medium—if words are your strength, crank out an essay. If technology is your jam, record a video. Get creative!

Flinternship Requirements

In order to be eligible for a Flinternship, you must:

  • Currently be attending college
  • Have enough credits completed by the beginning of the internship to be considered at least a junior

Flinternship Perks

Flinternship: Social Media

Flint Group is in the market for a client-minded Flintern to join our Social Media team for the summer of 2019. As well as working closely with the Social Media team, all Flinterns will work together to own a project for a local non-profit from start to finish while learning all aspects of agency life.

The 2019 summer Flinternship program will run May 14 – August 23 with an average of 30 hours of paid work each week.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in the management of our Flint brand communities and posts
  • Analyze reports weekly to determine trend use within native platforms to make real-time decisions and boost post performance
  • Collaborate with the PR team as an additional content source to create an integrated approach to clients’ social media pages

Who you are:

  • Junior or senior status in college, working towards a degree in marketing, advertising or a related field
  • Demonstrated background and knowledge in social media
  • Have the initiative to over-deliver
  • Professional in the workplace
  • Positive attitude and excited to learn
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Broad knowledge of marketing and advertising through classes or prior experience

Please include a portfolio of your social work with your application. Feel free to include your social spaces on your resume to show off your impressive social skills!

We’ll also be giving extra points if you can catch our attention on social media outside of this application process!
