Handy guide of lifestyle, holiday social media posts

By

While informational, brand and promotional content is usually the focus throughout business social media channels, you have to make room for humanizing and fun posts, too! Not only do lifestyle and holiday posts humanize a brand’s social media page, they also help generate comments, shares, tags and likes. Obviously, we don’t recommend posting every holiday or national day on your social media channels for the sake of getting traffic to your page – if content isn’t “brand right” or doesn’t relate to how your brand wants to be perceived, do not post about it.

As Facebook continues to make it tougher for business page posts to reach people, it is important to start conversations and reasons for people to engage. Posting pieces of relatable content shows your brand is human and encourages people to tag friends or “like” your content, which in turn gets more eyes on your page and posts. Not only is this part of social media fun, but it’s also super useful.
