How do you engage in-store shoppers online? In working with West Acres, we first developed an overall social media strategy and launched the mall’s Facebook page. Since then, we’ve provided social media consulting and created and managed a number of contests and promotions to engage people in the West Acres shopping experience.
The two-way communication tool gives West Acres insight into what stores, restaurants and improvements its customers “want” or “are interested in.” In fact, West Acres has used information gathered through Facebook to secure leases with a number of retailers. Fans love to share what they want, and potential merchants like to know they’re wanted.
In just over two years, West Acres has grown its fan base to more than 10,200. Needless to say, we have one happy client. And with all those friends, who wouldn’t be?
