AGCO dealership Trochu Motors Ltd. celebrated its 70th anniversary in April 2017 with a special customer appreciation open house, featuring cocktails, dinner and a scheduled program. Trochu reached out to Flint Group to promote the celebration and bring in more attendees.
Flint Group handled the public relations efforts for the open house. We reached out to local publications and created a media advisory. We also created Facebook posts and a Facebook event to get the word out online, and designed an indoor hanging banner for the event commemorating Trochu’s rich history.
News of the 70th anniversary open house was picked up by television station CTV Calgary, located roughly 90 miles from Trochu, and the station featured a 2:30 report on the event — a fantastic opportunity for Trochu to be seen by a wide audience. Multiple publications and websites in the Trochu area also published stories about the open house. Nearly 1,300 people attended Trochu’s open house, giving the dealership an amazing turnout for a highly successful celebration.
